Plantation
Lodge. A lovely farmhouse converted to a lodge run by a
German couple, Plantation Lodge offers fresh foods from their farm
home cooked style. This cozy homely lodge built within a coffee
plantation overlooks the beautiful hills and valleys of Karatu,
a region known for its coffee plantations, sugar cane and rice fields.
The beautiful well-kept gardens with a variety of flowers are very
inviting for a walk in the evenings. There is also a pool to enjoy
during the hot afternoons.
Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. Perched on the Rim of the Ngorongoro
Crater, glamorous
Maasai Village inspired Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is one of the top

Ngorongoro
Serena Lodge. Built on the Rim of a dormant and collapsed
volcano, Ngorongoro Serena exists in perfect harmony with the natural
environment. Awarded the green globe, the plant and ivy-covered
stone camouflaged lodge has elegant rooms ornately decorated with
local materials. Most of the rooms have a private terrace offering
incredible views of the vast conservation area inhabited by the
Maasai tribe as well as an extraordinary variety of wildlife and
birdlife.
Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Set on the Rim of Ngorongoro Crater,
each of the suites offer breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Each of the rooms have an enclosed solarium with a rocking chair
to relax and enjoy the splendid scenery. There is a swimming pool
on the end of the rim for those daring enough to brave the cool
weather of Ngorongoro Rim.
Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge is perched on the rim
of the incomparable Ngorongoro
Crater. It is built mainly from natural stone and local wood and
timber. The panoramic windows encompass a superb view of the 311
sq. km crater teeming with wildlife. It offers breathtaking view
of the crater. It is 2,286 meters above sea level. 90 bedrooms in
all, a lounge with panoramic windows and an observation deck.
Serengeti
Serena Lodge. Located in the Seronera, an area rich with
wildlife year round, Serengeti Serena is set discreetly high on
a hill, offering magnificent view of the rolling unspoiled wilderness
of the Serengeti plains. The theme of the lodge reflects a Maasai
Village complete with Maasai Warriors. Each of the spacious Maasai
huts with modern facilities has its own private verandah offering
amazing views of the vast Serengeti plains below, home to the greatest
wildlife spectacles on earth.
Serengeti
Sopa Lodge. This lodge set on a hilltop of Nyarboro Hills
in the South West of the Serengeti, overlooks the seemingly endless
Serengeti plains. Each of the rooms has a private verandah that
offers stunning views of the endless plains.
Seronera Wildlife Lodge is a large tourist hotel
and offers simple but comfortable
rooms, friendly service, good food and excellent wildlife viewing
opportunities. The Seronera Wildlife Lodge may be the simplest and
least visually appealing out of all the lodges in the Central Serengeti
but its location at the heart of the Seronera River Valley is unbeatable.
The Seronera River Valley, with its abundance of resident animals
including all the big carnivores, is a must see no matter what time
of year. The Seronera Wildlife Lodge is recommended for those seeking
simple (no frills) accommodations and maximum wildlife viewing.
However, if luxury is a bigger priority over game viewing, then
the other two lodges in the Central Serengeti including the Serengeti
Serena Lodge and the Serengeti Sopa Lodge may make a better choice.
For those seeking the ultimate luxury adventure and something a
little more rewarding then a large buffet line, the Private Luxury
Camp may be the best choice.
Western Serengeti:
Kirawira Luxury Tented Camp. One of the prestigious
Small Luxury Hotels of the World, Kirawira Luxury Tented Camp is

Northern Serengeti:
Migration Camp. Built very discreetly on kopjes,
Migration Camp is located in the North Central Serengeti, overlooking
the Grumeti River. Resident wildlife of
lions, leopard, cheetahs have the company of the Serengeti migratory
animals, the wildebeest during certain months of the year when the
migratory animals are crossing the Masai Mara going to Southern
Serengeti. And then you have the hippos who do not let you forget
they are there with their grunting or the baboon always on the look
out for left over. All of the comfortable white linen lined beds
with modern facility tents have a balcony oriented westwards towards
the spectacular Northern Serengeti sunset.
The
northern most lodge in the Serengeti, Lobo Wildlife Lodge
is built into a massive kopje, merging completely into the surrounding
landscape, considered to be one of the most beautiful lodges in
Tanzania, its beauty can be described as breathtaking.
The Lobo Wildlife Lodge overlooks one of the most picturesque plains
in the Serengeti and features 75 rooms with private bathrooms, and
a restaurant situated amidst huge walls of granite.
The swimming pool and bar, both dug into the rock, afford breathtaking
views over the bushy plains and savanna dotted with herds of buffalo
and elephant. Climb atop the kopje to the hotel's sundowner deck,
and watch the horizon ablaze with the setting African sun.
Southern Serengeti:
Ndutu
Safari Lodge. Situated in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area
in the southern short grass plains of the Serengeti ecosystem lays
Ndutu Lodge. Standing amongst acacia woodland near Lake Ndutu, the
stone cottages sit unobtrusively in the wilderness, offering the
quintessential setting for the experiencing the peace of the Serengeti.
Lake Manyara National Park Area:
Kirurumu
Tented Lodge. Built on the escarpment of the Great East
African Rift Valley, Kirurumu offers a spectacular panoramic view
of Lake Manyara and the surrounding area. Each of the eco-friendly
simple yet comfortable tents, pierced on a natural stone, have their
own verandah offering privacy to enjoy the view in luxury. The lodge
is built strategically with close attention paid to landscape and
lighting so as not to disturb the pattern of migratory bird.
Lake
Manyara Hotel definitely has the most magnificent position
overlooking the park from a steep-side promontory at the top of
the escarpment. It is a classic 1970's style of construction, right
down to the man gliding his rotary parquet floor polisher across
the dining room. This lodge has recently come under new ownership
and we are very much looking forward to seeing what they plan to
do with it.
Lake
Manyara Serena Lodge. Perched on the edge of Mto Wa Mbu
escarpment, Lake Manyara Serena Lodge overlooks the Great Rift Valley
and the Manyara soda lake. The extraordinary birdlife of Manyara
has made this place renowned amongst the ornithologists. The interior
décor of each of the rooms, circular in shape indigenous
to the traditional architect, depict the bird migration pattern
creating a scene of idyllic serenity.
Tarangire National Park:
Tarangire
Sopa Lodge. A 'low profile' structure, Tarangire Sopa nestles
into a wooded hillside valley overlooking Tarangire Hill. Each of
the rooms is comfortable with basic necessities provided. Tarangire
Sopa has a large public area to relax in the evenings and enjoy
the surrounding baobab filled landscape.
Tarangire
Safari Lodge. Located inside the Tarangire National Park,
Tarangire Safari Lodge is beautifully situated on a bluff with magnificent
views overlooking the Tarangire River and the Baobab studded landscape.
Each of the comfortable tent has thatched roofs for sun protection,
as you sit right outside your veranda enjoying the best game-viewing.
Zanzibar Stone Town:
Zanzibar
Serena Inn. Member of the prestigious Small Luxury Hotels
of the World, Zanzibar Serena is set in two historic seafront buildings

and Green. A beautifully restored Palace, Emerson and Green
was once the home of one of the richest men in the Swahili Empire.
The Palace is situated in the heart of Stone Town. The stylish and
elegant rooms are spacious airy with uniquely carved doors, antique
furnishings, ceiling fans and stone baths. The Tower Top Restaurant
has a reputation of serving some of the finest food in Zanzibar.
Tembo
Inn. Situated on the waterfront of Zanzibar's Stone Town
where history appears to stand still, Tembo Inn, is a 19th century
structure with one side facing the historic buildings of Stone Town
and the other the clear blue waters of the Indian Ocean. Each of
the rooms provide elegant accommodation in authentic Zanzibari style
taking you back in time with carved antique Arabic style beds and
Persian baths.
Mnemba Island. The Island positioned on the Northeastern
Coast of Zanzibar, Mnemba Island has been voted by Conde Nest as
one of the three most
romantic places in the world. This says a lot! Only housing a maximum
of 20 guests, highest standard of service can be assured. The rooms,
hand-woven palm mats shaped into a hut, have shower-bathrooms and
a private verandah. There are no windows or doors, but the same

Ras Nungwi Beach Hotel. Set on coral on the northern
